Hi there.

I'm Jeremy. I am currently a Service Designer at Reboot, a social impact consultancy focused on helping institutions build better services for the communities they serve. I'm a recent graduate of the first class of Code for America fellows. Before that I studied at the University of Michigan, and snagged a Masters Degree in the Science of Information. While there I co-founded a mobile game start-up with thousands of players and hundreds of thousands of play sessions world-wide.
I am interested in the many and varied ways people mix with information, how these interactions can be improved, and how they can improve the world in big and small ways. My main interests are service and interaction design, information visualization, and entrepreneurship, but I am also a firm believer in developing interactions based on thorough user research and iteration: crafting elegant, usable interfaces and services that help people solve problems requires a rich understanding of the heart of those problems and the people who face them.
I've worked in many different realms, and am something of a jack-of-all-trades type, but I especially love creating easy to use, innovative interfaces and services that use technology appropriately.
Most importantly, I love working with people who love what they do.
